Like many, we at The Old Cinema are taking time to put our feet up over the Easter weekend but don't worry, there's still plenty of time to come and have your very own treasure hunt around our showrooms.

Back in the Eighties, these 4 caricature dog chews managed to avoid any canine teeth, but they are now on display here at The Old Cinema, ready to face the mercy of a new owner.  Could that be you and your favourite pooch?  Maggie Thatcher, Ronald Reagan, Neil Kinnock, and David Owen - priced £40 each -  await the kennel.  These fabulous original squeaky toys were supplied by Eleanor Feldman of Modern Living: Retro Style, she currently has a beautiful collection of Mid-Century ceramics, glassware, and quirky accessories. Come and check them out this weekend!

This week our finest new piece is this beautiful Victorian mahogany apothecary cabinet made by Ferris & Co, Bristol during the late 19th century. Wonderfully maintained, it features a multitude of shelves, drawers and cupboards with locking lids and metamorphic doors, designed in a waterfall fashion. Having previously resided in a museum this impressive piece of craftsmanship is now ready for a lovely home.  Come and check it out this weekend!  Price £2850

Metamorphic cabinet doors prevent unwanted spills

We have been changing round our showrooms this week, with Guy Trench from Antiques By Design filling a much larger space with his beautiful upcycled lamps and industrial tables.  Meanwhile Bird Vintage have moved to a ground floor showroom, they currently have a great Postal Sorting Desk and a cool Ercol telephone table

Come check out all the new stuff this weekend!
